Projects
By identifying the right community or Charity project for your Team Building or Learning and Development Programme, we can provide you with a unique training experience that will make a significant contribution towards the development of your staff.
Where do we work?
KliC4 Training can provide projects in both rural or urban settings. We have a varied portfolio of charities in a wide geographical area and can organise a project either near to your company’s area of activity or at a location to suit you.
What sort of project can we provide?
Practical, ‘hands-on’ projects are wide ranging, from conservation work both in urban areas and deep in the heart of the countryside, to renovating a community hall, providing disabled access to a heritage site, or re-decorating a house for the homeless. You could take part in exciting heritage building ‘Restoration’ projects, build a bird hyde at an Environmental Education site, install a boardwalk for wheelchair users at a wetlands reserve, or restore Mediaeval fish ponds at an ancient manor house! The possibilities are almost endless!
If your company training needs would benefit from a more ‘cerebral’ activity, then how about developing a Business and Marketing Plan for a Charity’s Trading Company, or a merchandising and distribution plan for the sale of Charity Christmas cards? You could work with a Charity to put together a website or magazine, or to develop a new idea for successful community fundraising?
What sort of Charity could you work with?
KliC4 Training has an excellent portfolio of Charities with whom we work – both at local and at National level. We can even organise overseas projects. However, we are always building new relationships and will identify the right type of Charity to suit you!
We currently work with Charities covering such themes as:
- Environment and conservation
- Disability
- Education and training
- Young people
- Youth disaffection
- Heritage restoration
- Families
- Sport
- Homelessness
It is important to note that these are real projects with real Charities, and should not be considered as ‘instant makeovers’!
We believe that the process of involvement, what can be learned, what can be experienced and finally, what can be achieved, are all a vital part of the success of each activity.
