Learning and Development
There's more to KliC4 Training than just Team Building!
Most companies provide their staff with a wide variety of Learning and Development opportunities that will aim to build an individual's skills, to enhance group effectiveness and to benefit corporate productivity.
When used as part of a company's Learning and Development Programme, the right Charity project can provide an exciting and effective training medium that truly makes learning come to life!
Clear learning outcomes linked to business objectives
Our experienced trainers will work with you to agree the key objectives for your department or your organisation. Learning outcomes need to be specific to those attending the event, but will normally centre on the following areas:
- Goals
- Roles
- Systems
- Relationships
The hallmark of every project is that it should be practical, experiential and result in a positive, physical improvement to the surroundings, the environment or the community.
Projects will usually involve a degree of physical work but will be designed in such a way as to utilise ‘higher order’ management skills too, such as:
- Planning
- Negotiating
- Budgeting
- Reviewing
- Evaluation
The degree of project complexity will be matched carefully to the clients learning aims and objectives. For the project team there is always ‘something for everyone.’
What can the right Charity project do for your business?
- Develop problem solving skills
- Achieve a team ethos and a sense of group cohesion
- Encourage participants to use their initiative, set priorities and manage their time
- Promote communication and integration within and between teams
- Facilitate self development and self awareness
- Develop personal and professional team skills and expertise
- Demonstrate key competencies in a practical setting
- Identify concepts and competencies that are directly related to company objectives and can be used in Personal Action Plans for the future
In addition, every project meets a real need, by real people in real situations. By matching corporate training needs to community and environmental need, KliC4 Training creates an exciting formula for quality training leading to real results.
Additional options
Psychometric profiling
People come in all shapes and sizes and certainly, every person is unique. By taking part in profiling methods and completing questionnaires, delegates will provide themselves with information on their preferences in terms of personality, team contribution, work and learning styles etc. when we match this up with those of other colleagues and team members, we reveal a picture of how individuals might typically interact and how they will be able to use this knowledge to their benefit and the benefit of those they manage.
Theoretical Inputs
Our expert facilitators are able to provide a very wide range of inputs, presentations, questionnaires, discussions, exercises and other learning resources for relevant themes in order to enhance the learning outcomes for the event. These can be done informally in and around the project activity or build into more formal training sessions before, during or after the event.
One to One Coaching
Occasionally it emerges from events of this nature that certain individuals have particular development needs and require help in certain areas. Examples might include overcoming stress, managing difficult relationships, adapting their behaviour for improved results etc. KliC4 Training is able to offer highly bespoke and effective professional coaching for employees at all levels within an organisation. A single intervention or series of sessions usually spanning an hour each can be scheduled to take place at the individual’s place of work.
